Faith

Faith is the foundation on which we stand and the lens through which we view the world, as well as a wellspring of hope and strength. Faith is also deeply personal; it is a relationship with our Creator and Savior, not ritualistic rules and traditions. Ensuring our children have a faith rooted in the Truth of God’s Word so they can build a lifelong personal relationship with their Father is paramount.

Family

The family unit is the apple of our Father’s eye, which is why it is the first place the enemy strikes. Quality time together strengthens those family bonds, especially when we invite our Father to join us. Afterall, He did gift them to us while on the side of eternity. So curl up with them and a book on a rainy day or hike through the Petrified Forest (bucket list) or bake some cookies. Spend time with your family to create lasting memories that strengthen your relationships with them and Him.

Creation

Whether digging in a garden, floating in a natural spring, or hiking through the forest, we can strengthen faith by being in communion with Him and tending to His creation. His glory, majesty, and love are written across all His creation. We, as parents, have the privilege and responsibility to not only share this beauty with our children but to train them to notice, appreciate, and steward all He has created.

Creativity

We were made in the image of our Father who created us. Therefore, by teaching our children to use their imaginations, we are teaching them to embrace and reflect one of the characteristics of the One who created them. Creativity can, and should, be expressed in a variety of ways, using both sides of the brain, to gain a glimpse into the awesomeness of His creativity.
